The first medical mission was initiated by ROOT.org who brought lots of medications from USA and gave them to our beloved Pastor Emmanuel Kolade, who promised to give to underprivileged people in the community he lives, as instructed by Melanie the CEO of ROOT.org . The first medical mission was conducted by Pastor Emmanuel Kolade in September 2013, at Igbokila, Yewa North Ogun State, Nigeria. 196 people came and many accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior.
Definite Change Health Foundation was registered as an incorporated trustee in Nigeria to continue the above project in December 2013. In April 2014 medical mission held at Abele village Yewa North in Ogun state, we attended to 160 people. God provided DCHF with able medical personnel’s and volunteers who love God and are willing to serve others.
In March 2015 DCHF medical mission outreach were held in three villages: Ikoyi-ile near Ogbomosho in Oyo state, attending to over 300 people. In Orunwa Village, near Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, attending to over 250 people, was including children. The last place we visited was Asa village, located at the border of Republic of Benin and Nigeria. We saw about 280 people including children. God save souls in all our outreaches and a church was established in Orunwa village after the program. Some attendees were given immediate treatment and then referred them to the hospital for follow up due to high blood pressures and high blood glucose. Children were treated separately in all our outreaches.
